Specializing in free-motion edge-to-edge, all over designs featuring meander, stippling, swirls or loops, each quilt is custom quilted on a hand-guided stitch-regulated APQS Millennium quilting machine. A perfect finish for your lovingly pieced tops!

PREPARING YOUR QUILT TOP AND BACK
Prior to quilting, your quilt top must be squared, pressed and free of excess threads. The back and batting must be four inches larger than the quilt top on all four sides, cut, squared and pressed. See Special Note below.

CALCULATING THE COST OF LONGARM QUILTING
The charge for longarm quilting is per square inch. Multiply the length of your quilt top times the width to get the square inches. Multiply the square inches by the cost of the quilting service at $.015/per square inch.

Examples:
Twin Quilt Top – 60” x 84” = 5040 square inches x $.015 = $75.60

Queen Quilt Top – 90” x 95” = 8550 square inches x $.015 = $128.25.

BATTING
You may supply your own batting, or we carry Warm and Natural Needled Cotton batting, Hobbs 80/20, and Dream Cotton, 90” wide at $.30 per linear inch. If you supply your own batting, please make sure that it is compatible with machine quilting.

THREAD
Thread is included in the quilting price unless you would like to use a special thread such as variegated. We use Superior Threads.

OTHER SERVICES AVAILABLE
Backing Preparation: We will seam your backing to the proper size for your quilt with materials you supply for a charge of $5.00 per seam, plus an additional $5.00 to square the backing once it is prepared. All materials should be prewashed, pressed and ready to be incorporated into your quilt. Binding: We will prepare a 2.5 inch straight grain binding from materials you supply, apply by machine to the front of the quilt, with corners mitered ready for you to finish, at $0.15 per linear inch. We will prepare a 2.5 inch straight grain binding from materials you supply, apply by machine to the front of the quilt, with mitered corners, and hand-stitch to the back, at $0.25 per linear inch.

MINIMUM QUILTING CHARGE
There is a minimum $40.00 quilting charge on all longarm orders which is for quilting services only. Additional charges may apply for backing preparation, binding services, etc.

SPECIAL NOTE
We recognize that your quilt tops represent a great investment in time and money. In order to have the best quality outcome, your quilt top must be carefully prepared prior to quilting. Careful application of the borders in a must! Beachside Quilter is not responsible for folds in fabric during the quilting process that is a result of fullness in the borders.
