Specializing in free-motion edge-to-edge, all over designs featuring meander, stippling, swirls or loops, each quilt is custom quilted on a hand-guided stitch-regulated APQS Millennium quilting machine. A perfect finish for your lovingly pieced tops!
PREPARING YOUR QUILT TOP AND BACK Prior to quilting, your quilt top must be squared, pressed and free of excess threads. The back and batting must be four inches larger than the quilt top on all four sides, cut, squared and pressed. See Special Note below.
CALCULATING THE COST OF LONGARM QUILTING The charge for longarm quilting is per square inch. Multiply the length of your quilt top times the width to get the square inches. Multiply the square inches by the cost of the quilting service at $.015/per square inch.
Examples:
Twin Quilt Top – 60” x 84” = 5040 square inches x $.015 = $75.60
Queen Quilt Top – 90” x 95” = 8550 square inches x $.015 = $128.25.
BATTING
You may supply your own batting, or we carry Warm and Natural Needled Cotton batting, Hobbs 80/20, and Dream Cotton, 90” wide at $.30 per linear inch. If you supply your own batting, please make sure that it is compatible with machine quilting. |
